Voyager Life reported that M3 Helium is advancing preparations to bring its Rost 1-26 well at Fort Dodge, Kansas, into production, with helium sales expected to begin by the end of Sep'24. Prior well tests saw helium concentrations between 4.8-5.1% at the Rost well but a relatively low raw gas flow rate of 47mcf/d, implying helium production of only ~860mcf/y. M3 Helium is installing a compressor and PSA modular processing unit to concentrate helium onsite, aiming to reduce transport costs, to enhance the economics. Discussions with two potential off-takers are ongoing, and de-watering may further increase the well’s flow rate.
