Ukraine halting Russian gas flows may hit Helium production

Yet more Russian helium may be taken off the market, further exacerbating the global helium shortage. As well as the loss of new Amur volumes due to the explosions at the plant, the existing volumes out of Russia (we estimate ~175mmcf/y of production or 3% of global supply, mainly from Orenburg) now appear under threat too.
