Texas A&M Uni. Receives ARPA-E Funding for Natural H2 Research

Dr. Rita Esuru Okoroafor, an assistant professor at Texas A&M University, was awarded US$1.5mm by the US Department of Energy's Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) to lead a project on natural hydrogen production. Collaborating with the New Jersey Institute of Technology and Louisiana State University, this two-year study will focus on developing efficient methods to produce hydrogen from subsurface ultramafic rocks.
