Renergen has successfully introduced gas into its processing facilities at its Virginia gas project in South Africa. This further derisks the start-up of the plant which is expected towards the end of the month after final commissioning workstreams are completed. Phase 1 of the gas project is expected to have initial volumes of nearly 350kg/d (74mcf/d) of helium and 2,500GJ/d (2.5mmcf/d) of LNG.
