Party City is reportedly in talks with debt holders about potentially spinning off its Anagram unit, as the retailing business seeks to emerge from bankruptcy. The company filed for bankruptcy protection in January after facing challenges from lockdowns, store closures, and supply chain disruptions affecting helium availability. While Party City's subsidiaries outside the United States, franchise stores, and Anagram business were not part of the bankruptcy proceedings, the potential split could allow for strategic restructuring as the situation unfolds.
