Georgina Energy Expands Well Re-Entry Programme and Advances Key Projects

Georgina Energy is expanding its well re-entry programme by evaluating 10 priority targets within the Centralian Superbasin, including the Amadeus and Officer Basins, which hold potential for helium, hydrogen, and natural gas. The company is set to commence drilling at the Hussar 1 well by Dec'24, aiming to deepen it and explore the subsalt Townsend Formation. Additionally, Georgina is awaiting approval to re-enter and deepen the Mt Winter well to test the helium-rich Heavitree formation. The off-take MOU with Harlequin Energy has been extended for another year, with ongoing discussions for potential new partnerships.
