At the XII International Conference "Helium 2024" in St. Petersburg and the Asia Helium Conference 2024 in Guangzhou, Lyubov Brish, Director General of Gazprom Helium Service, highlighted the capabilities of Gazprom's helium hub in the Primorsky Territory. As the world's largest full-cycle logistics centre with its own cryogenic facilities, it aims to have the capacity to produce 2.1 bcf/y of liquid helium from the Amur Gas Processing Plant (GPP), handling 4,500 operations with helium containers each year. The hub facilitates the transportation of helium through Gazprom's LNG fleet to global markets via seaports and checkpoints in the Russian Far East. Russia commenced delivery of its helium cargoes to China in Sep'23 and has since expanded to cover a considerable part of Asia.
