Fluctuations in Helium Production at the BLM/Messer Cliffside Plant

Over the last few weeks, the Cliffside helium plant has experienced choppy production, with a sharp decline in early Mar '24 and again in early Apr '24, when the plant went down for planned maintenance. Production has now stabilised at around 1.3mmcf/d over the past two weeks, which is ~25% lower than at the beginning of 2024. According to the BLM, the low volume of helium entering the pipeline could be due to factors such as demand or logistical challenges in container availability for filling and distribution. There are no reported outages along the pipeline.
