The US Advanced Research Projects Agency–Energy (ARPA-E) has assigned US$20mm to advance technologies for producing natural hydrogen from the subsurface, with a focus on low-cost, environmentally friendly methods. This initiative seeks to unlock substantial clean energy resources and contribute to decarbonising challenging industries.
