Cliffside Helium Plant Sees Weak Production in Jul'24

The Cliffside Helium Enrichment Unit, which is now under Messer's ownership, experienced low helium output in the first half of Jul'24 with zero output in the first week of July. It picked up immediately after to its normal production level of ~1.2mmcf/d but pipeline pressure has been dropping from around 1,300psia to ~980psia in the last week. This has happened twice in the last six months in Mar'24 and again in Apr'24. The main reasons cited by the BLM officials were factors such as demand or logistical challenges in container availability for filling and distribution. There are no reported outages along the pipeline.
