Allseas Unveils Plan for Offshore-Ready HTGR by 2030

Dutch offshore contractor Allseas has launched a five-year initiative to develop a 25MWe high-temperature gas-cooled (HTGR) small modular reactor (SMR) using TRISO fuel for offshore vessels and onshore use. HTGRs are designed to use helium as a coolant in the reactor.
