Weak LNG Production in February Suggests Lower Helium Exports

When it rains...it pours! LNG export data that we have seen for February suggests that LNG exports out of the key regions which have associated helium production have all seen LNG production decline by around 30% versus January levels. We estimate that this could have led to around 50mmcf lower helium exports (~10% of normal global supply). This is on top of the US BLM storage being down and Russian exports having halted.
