Voyager Life is progressing with the proposed acquisition of M3 Helium, a helium producer in Kansas, while also planning a name change to Mendell Helium plc. M3 Helium’s Nilson well, located in the Hugoton field, has shown encouraging results following an initial fracture stimulation, with gas production rising to 34mcf/d containing approximately 0.6% helium. However with implied annual production of 74mcf of helium the commerciality is unclear. A larger frack, scheduled to use five times the original volumes, is planned to further enhance production. Investors have committed US$170k to support the project, with a focus on unlocking more substantial helium reserves.
