Virgin Galactic Launches Commercial Spaceline Operations

Virgin Galactic announced the commencement of its commercial spaceline operations, marking a significant milestone in space tourism. The inaugural commercial spaceflight, named 'Galactic 01,' is scheduled between June 27 to June 30, 2023. This first mission will focus on scientific research, with three crew members from the Italian Air Force and the National Research Council of Italy conducting microgravity research. Following this, 'Galactic 02' is planned for early August 2023, with subsequent monthly spaceflights anticipated. Commercial space travel could be a significant market for helium in the future.
