USGS partners with Arizona to Map Critical Minerals; Excludes Helium

The US Geological Survey (USGS) is set to invest over US$3.1mm, in collaboration with the Arizona Geological Survey, to map critical mineral resources in Arizona with the aim to advance scientific innovation and map critical minerals. However, the survey excludes helium from the list. Although it is not surprising after the US DOE confirmed the exclusion of helium from the critical mineral list in the 2023 reassessment.
