US Revokes US$7.4bn Semiconductor Grant

The US Commerce Department revoked up to US$7.4bn in semiconductor research grants, citing unlawful creation of the private non-profit National Center for the Advancement of Semiconductor Technology (Natcast) to manage funds under the CHIPS Act.
