US Firm gets Grant to Study Oman’s Natural Hydrogen Potential

Eden GeoPower, in collaboration with the US Department of Energy (DOE), is advancing a project to unlock natural hydrogen production potential in Oman's Semail Ophiolite, a large geological formation in Oman. Eden aims to stimulate hydrogen production from peridotite-rich rocks. The DOE's grant supports Eden's Electrical Reservoir Stimulation (ERS) technology, designed to enhance rock permeability and promote hydrogen production with a lower carbon footprint than conventional methods.
