US DOE Announces US$20mm for Geologic Hydrogen Exploration

The US Department of Energy (DOE) announced plans to allocate US$20mm to 16 initiatives across eight states aimed at accelerating the exploration of geologic hydrogen. These projects involve a diverse range of participants, including universities, national laboratories, and private enterprises, selected to receive funding through ARPA-E's Exploratory Topics on geologic hydrogen. This comes after the US DOE's plans to allocate US$17mm to fund 19 natural hydrogen projects.
