Ultra Clean has been granted a patent for a novel helium-based leak detection system designed to enhance accuracy in testing units. The apparatus integrates a helium dispenser, vacuum source, and motion detectors, to monitor helium dispersion and vacuum pressure in real-time. The system provides alerts if helium levels exceed limits or if testing speeds are incorrect, with all data logged for further analysis, supporting manufacturing optimisation. We believe that helium's use in leak detection could grow upto 3% per annum till the end of the decade.
