Tumbleweed Acquires the Ladder Creek Helium Plant from DCP

Tumbleweed Midstream has completed the acquisition of the Ladder Creek Helium Plant and Gathering System from DCP Midstream. Ladder Creek is located west of Cheyenne Wells, Colorado where helium concentrations are high as 3%. Currently the plant has the capacity to process 40 MMCF/d of natural gas expandable to 50 MMCF/d and can extract and liquefy 1.5 MMCF/d of helium, with purity levels of five-nines (99.999%). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
