Numerous media houses are tracking developments in the natural hydrogen market and this time, it was picked up by India's national newspaper, The Times of India. The global pursuit of sustainable and clean energy solutions has brought natural hydrogen into focus as a potential game-changer. Discovered accidentally in Mali in 2011, naturally occurring hydrogen has sparked interest worldwide. As countries shift from traditional energy sources, the demand for natural hydrogen rises, with projections indicating its significant role in meeting global electricity needs. With examples from Mali to the Philippines and India, the exploration and development of natural hydrogen reserves offer a promising and eco-friendly alternative to address the escalating energy needs while minimising environmental impact.
