Saskatchewan and Japan have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) to strengthen their economic ties, with a specific focus on investing in infrastructure, including helium. Helium is an area where Japan has a very significant interest in securing long-term, stable, reliable helium supplies. Japan is one of Saskatchewan’s largest export markets, with over C$1.2 billion in goods exported to the country.
