Russian Court Orders Seizure of Linde's Helium Containers

A Russian court has ordered the seizure 13 ISO containers of liquid helium owned by Germany's Linde, placing them under the control of Gazprom subsidiary RusKhimAlyans amid legal proceedings related to a gas project in Ust-Luga. The court previously froze nearly US$500 million of Linde's assets at RusKhimAlyans' request. Linde had suspended work on the project due to concerns about EU sanctions affecting LNG exports, and a London court granted an injunction against RusKhimAlyans suing Deutsche Bank and Commerzbank over the project.
