South African natural gas and helium producer, Renergen, entered into agreements for supplying helium from its Phase-2 Virginia Gas Plant for 10 and 15 years with Linde, Messer and Helium24. Although the agreements are conditional upon completion of multiple development milestones, the cumulative volume of helium to be supplied under the contracts is 196 containers per annum (~200mmcf/annum). This covers around 65% of the 5 ton/day capacity of the Phase-2 helium production at the Virginia Gas Project. All contracts are based on a fixed USD/MCF price, which will inflate every year post 2024.
