Renergen resumed liquid helium production at its Virginia Gas Project facility on 4th June, following a scheduled shutdown for system checks and calibrations. The process, involving the helium cold box achieving temperatures of around -269 degrees Celsius, has now entered a critical phase where the OEM contractor must demonstrate the plant's operational stability across temperature, pressure, and flow parameters during a seven-day Performance Test. The test aims to confirm the plant's design specifications, focusing on product recoverability, purity, and utility efficiency. Renergen also engaged two experienced helium consultants to oversee the final stages of commissioning.
