Start-up of gas production and sales appears imminent from the Virginia Gas Project in South Africa. Renergen is in the process purging and pre-cooling cold boxes using liquid nitrogen, which is an important process in preparing the units for acceptance of gas from the field in the coming week. Nitrogen is used because it significantly reduces risks associated with fires during start up.
