QatarEnergy has initiated its North Field expansion project, set to boost Qatar's LNG production capacity to 126 mtpa by 2026. The project involves six mega trains, partnerships with major energy companies like Shell and ExxonMobil, and the production of LNG, ethane gas, liquefied petroleum gas, condensates, helium (0.8 bcf/y), and pure sulphur.
