Pulsar announced that drilling of the Jetstream #1 appraisal well at the Topaz helium project is scheduled to begin on February 2nd. Capstar's rig is expected to be mobilised by January 28th. The drilling is anticipated to be finished within one month, followed by flow testing immediately after demobilisation. The well, reaching a depth of 686m (2,250ft) with a contingency to extend to 762m (2,500ft), will employ a mass spectrometer for real-time gas composition analysis and collect gas samples during helium gas responses. Baker Hughes will conduct open hole wireline logs upon reaching total depth.
