Proton Green Achieves First Helium Sale from St Johns Arizona

Proton Green announced the first sale of helium from its St Johns Field Phase I Helium Extraction Plant in Arizona a month after production began in July 2023. No helium production or sales volumes have been provided, although it expects to produce 1.3mmcf per month in Phase I. With an estimated ~33bcf of helium, Proton Green aims to become a major helium producer in North America as it scales production. The company plans to optimise Phase II (6.1mmcf of helium per month) infrastructure and begin construction in the coming months. Its contracted helium price is US$580/mcf.
