Invictus Energy provided a positive update on the Mukuyu-2 well drilling at its Cabora Bassa Project in Zimbabwe. Encouraging signs in the Upper Angwa primary target included elevated gas readings, heavier hydrocarbons, and increased LWD resistivity. The well is set to drill a further 1,000m to reach its planned total depth of 3,750m, extending into the untested Lower Angwa. A wireline logging program will follow, aiming to confirm the presence of moveable hydrocarbons in multiple zones. The well remains on track for completion within the forecasted 50 to 60 days.
