Noble Helium Mobilises Rig for North Rukwa Drilling in September

After announcing its progress on the Mbelele prospect in its quarterly results, Noble Helium is advancing towards spudding the Mbelele-1 well in Q3’23. The company is mobilising the Marriott Drillmec HH102 #16 rig from the UK drilling yard to the Port of Hull. The rig will be transported via Dar es Salaam and is due to arrive in Tanzania in late August/early September. Drilling operations at the Mbelele-1 drill site are expected to begin by mid-September.
