Noble Helium commenced data processing and interpretation of initial shallow seismic surveys in Rukwa, Tanzania. Early findings from the southern part of the basin next to the Karoo fault - south of the Mbelele-1 and Mbelele-2 exploration wells, near the Direct Subsurface Gas Indicator (DSGI), which is a signal in seismic data indicating potential underground gas, alongside other observed gas seeps, suggest promising helium potential. The company has also selected its preferred rig contractor and is finalising preparations for drilling, which is set to begin during the current dry season (presumably before October). These elevated helium levels are a positive for neighbouring explorer, Helium One which is also targeting the Karoo fault for its next exploration programme.
