Noble Helium identified commercial production potential in the shallow, free gas cap zone of its Mbelele-1 well in the North Rukwa Project, Tanzania, with helium concentrations confirmed up to 2.46%. Recent drilling and analysis have revealed significant helium readings and reservoir modelling suggests viable commercial flow rates. The company is preparing for low-cost testing to further explore commercialisation opportunities and deeper targets. With the evidence of high helium concentrations and suitable reservoir characteristics, Noble Helium is optimistic about the short-term monetisation prospects of the Mbelele structure.
