SpaceX is reportedly in talks for a new funding round that could value the company at US$175bn or more, up from its US$150bn valuation in the summer. The surge in valuation follows SpaceX's profitable first quarter this year and strong revenue growth. Much of SpaceX's value is attributed to its Starlink satellite service, which recently completed US military tests in the Arctic, potentially paving the way for Space Force contracts. Starlink satellite launches reequire a substantial volume of helium during the launch. We expect to see a lot of satellitle launches from SpaceX given its proven operationality thereby also boosting helium demand.
