New Research in Japan Achieves Cryogenic Cooling Without Helium

Researchers at Japan’s National Institute of Technology (KOSEN), Oshima College and the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) developed a new regenerator material for cryogenic cooling that eliminates the need for liquid helium.
