Colorado-based Twin Rivers Exploration is set to begin "vibro-seismic" testing in Carroll County, Iowa, as part of its search for natural hydrogen trapped underground. The testing involves a truck that vibrates the ground to map underground formations, aiming to locate potential hydrogen reserves. This project, centred around the town of Lidderdale, follows recent land surveys in Webster County. The testing is expected to start around 19th August 2024 and finish by the end of the month.
