New Mexico’s Attorney General has filed a lawsuit seeking to block New Era Energy & Digital (previously New Era Helium) from operating in the state until it pays damages and penalties, alleging a complex scheme to divert revenues from oil and gas wells while avoiding costly environmental clean-up obligations.
