Naughty Ventures, a recently established natural hydrogen company, acquired the Little Gull H2 Project in northwestern Ontario, focusing on natural hydrogen and helium. Covering 4.5k hectares around the Seagull Complex, the project is underpinned by ultramafic rocks and fault zones that favour gas generation through serpentinisation and uranium decay (radiolysis). Recent industry interest has been sparked by Anteros Metals’ Jan’26 gas intersection at 877m and historic evidence of high-pressure, flammable gas from a 2001 drill hole nearby. Satellite spectral analysis in Oct’24 also indicated hydrogen and helium signatures across the 64 km² Seagull Pluton, suggesting active seepage and a strong gas trap environment. This strategic acquisition expands Naughty Ventures’ exposure to the natural hydrogen and helium sector while it continues to advance other projects.
