The Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) has released a map indicating significant natural hydrogen deposits in Finnish groundwater, notably in areas such as Outokumpu, Nummi-Pusula in Lohja, and Pori. These findings, derived from older surveys and drilling measurements, suggest that Finland's bedrock contains hydrogen concentrations higher than international averages for similar geological formations. Currently in Europe, France and Spain are the only regions where natural hydrogen exploration is actively taking place with other discoveries in Albania.
