NASCO, one of the largest private helium producers in North America, has released an updated presentation. The company has grown production, under the radar to close to 100mmcf/y, largely from the DBK field in Arizona, where a compressor was installed in 2022 with the aim of increasing production by 20-25% and current production is ~110mmcf/y. A helium separation plant at the Hogback field (8% helium; one of the 20 largest fields in the US), in New Mexico is being installed with sales of helium and hydrocarbons planned to begin Q3'23: a long-term offtake agreement with Praxair (Linde) is being prepared. In Utah, it is selling production from the Boundary Butte field to the Lisbon gas plant at spot prices of US$400/mcf.
