Micron Technology is to invest US$825mm in a new semiconductor facility in Gujarat, India, with government support. The facility will focus on DRAM and NAND flash products, to address domestic and international market demand, and create high-tech jobs. Construction will start this year in two phases, with the planned cleanroom space becoming operational in late 2024. We expect semiconductor demand to surge in the next decade, in turn boosting helium demand.
