Iran Unveils a Pilot Helium Production Facility

A pilot plant for the production of helium, LNG and three knowledge-based products namely converters, purification systems, and high-speed turboexpanders was unveiled at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran. Therefore, after a 10-year effort, experts and engineers at the Sharif University of Technology succeeded in acquiring the knowledge and technology needed to obtain helium with a purity of 99.999%.
