Inomin Mines, a Canadian mineral explorer, applied for hydrogen exploration rights at its Beaver-Lynx critical minerals project in British Columbia. The project, located in a region known for magnesium and nickel mineralisation, may also contain natural hydrogen. The company plans to drill in the Beaver South zone to define magnesium, nickel, and potential hydrogen resources. Inomin is seeking a partner to further develop this large mineral system, which is strategically located near major mines and accessible infrastructure. Currently, there is only one other company, Geoscience BC, that is exploring for natural hydrogen in the region. MAX Power and QIMC are also exploring in neighbouring provinces.
