HyTerra acquired an additional 26k acres for its Nemaha Project in Kansas, bringing its total exploration lease position to 39k acres. The new leases, also situated above the Mid-Continent Rift, are rich in iron minerals ideal for hydrogen generation. HyTerra is preparing for a 6-well drilling program, backed by Fortescue’s proposed A$22mm (~US$15mm) investment, with an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) vote expected by Nov'24. The expansion positions HyTerra for enhanced exploration of hydrogen and helium resources.
