Blue Star Helium has announced multiple helium discoveries at the Galactica/Pegasus prospects in Las Animas, Colorado. Helium was discovered in all three of the exploratory water wells drilled at up to a 3.14% concentration, with net pay in the Lyons formation of between 101-154ft. The wells also contain ~75% CO2 and >20% nitrogen. The flow rates were between 0.2-0.4mmcf/d, which is consistent with data from the historical Model Dome field. Independents geological and engineering consultants Sproule has been engaged to updated the resource estimates to allow recognition of at least contingent resources. Blue Star has plans for four immediate follow-up exploration wells once permitted.
