Helix Exploration partnered with Treasure State Drilling, securing the Cardwell KB-150 D1D Drilling Rig for its Q3'24 appraisal drilling at the Ingomar Dome project in Montana. The company's management, familiar with the rig from previous operations, and experienced rig manager Will Stenger, along with Petroleum Consultants, form a seasoned team for this venture. The rig, known for its efficiency and suited for the projected depth of 8,000ft, is equipped with a robust mud system and a 500hp engine, ensuring reliable operations with reduced mobilisation costs.
