Helix Exploration contracted Precision Drilling’s Rig 704 to re-enter the Clink #1 well at the Ingomar Dome Project, Montana, with operations set to begin in early Oct'24. Helix had faced some completion issues with its previous rig, which temporarily halted the programme. The Clink#1 well showed promising helium and hydrogen gas in multiple formations, and the rig has the capacity to deepen the well if needed. Additionally, Helix secured 1,074 more acres at its Rudyard Project, which contains a helium discovery, bringing its total acreage to 6.7k acres. Drilling at Rudyard is planned for late Oct'24, targeting a domal anticline with 2C resources of 484mmcf of helium potential.
