Helium Supply Risk USGS Comment: Messer

Messer submitted a response to the USGS Request for Comments on the extent to which risks of disruptions to helium supply are increasing. Messer has extensive expertise in the production of helium and recently took over operation of the Cliffside Helium Upgrade unit as a third-party contractor. The letter notes that global helium markets are fragile and highly vulnerable to disruption due to geopolitical uncertainty, with major sources of helium located in areas with a history of conflict.
