Helium Recovery Facility at ISIS can Reuse up to 90% of the Gas

Back in the 1990s, the helium recovery project was ruled out because of costs of renewing an aging system, and the lack of a suitable workforce. Today, after witnessing 2 major helium shortages, the ISIS helium recovery facility has been able to successfully reuse 90% of helium gas equivalent to ~35,000 litres of liquid helium (close to 1mmcf), or 26 million litres of gas, recycled every year.
