Helium One Global faced setbacks in its drilling operations at the Tai-3 well in Tanzania. Although initial drilling into the fractured Basement revealed elevated helium levels, subsequent issues, including repairs to the iron rough neck and hydraulic system problems, has led to the temporary suspension of operations. The company, unable to pull the drill string for planned wireline operations, cited delays in obtaining valuable data and downhole gas samples. The company shares fell ~18% on the news given this is a highly anticipated well result.
